Whenever we use your personal information, we will have a reason to do this.

For example, if you share your name and contact information to ask a question about our products, we will use that personal information to respond to your inquiry. If you provide your personal information to purchase a product, we will use that information to process your payment and facilitate delivery. We may also save your information to facilitate new product orders or process returns;
  • to provide, support, and develop our website, mobile app, products, and services;
  • to create, maintain, customize, and secure your account with us;
  • to process your requests, purchases, transactions, and payments and prevent transactional fraud;
  • to provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries, including to investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses;
  • to personalize your website or mobile app experience and to deliver content and product and service offerings relevant to your interests, including targeted offers and ads through our website or mobile app and via email or text message (with your consent, where required by law);
  • to help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our website, mobile app, products, and services, including to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; and
  • to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us about our users is among the assets transferred.

We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.

In particular, in the table below, we explain:

  • what activity or scenario you are involved in when we use or collect your personal information;
  • what categories of personal information we have collected from consumers when you take part in a particular activity; and
  • what we do with your personal information, and the purposes for collecting and using it.



Certain cookies and web beacons that we employ are necessary for the operation of our website (note that we currently do not employ cookies in our mobile app). Other cookies that we employ are not necessary for the operation of our website, but are employed to enhance your use of our website and shopping experience.

Our cookies may be session cookies (temporary cookies that identify and track users within our website which are deleted when you close your browser or leave your session) or persistent cookies (cookies which enable our website to “remember” who you are and to remember your preferences within our website and which will stay on your computer or device after you close your browser or leave your session).


For Business Purposes

We share the following categories of personal information for a business purpose, as we have in the preceeding 12 months:

  • identifiers, including your first and last name, billing address, mailing address, email address, and internet protocol address;
  • commercial information, including purchase and order management information;
  • internet or other electronic network activity information, including browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with our website; and
  • protected classification characteristics under California or federal law, including skin color.

We disclose your personal information for a business purpose to the following categories of service providers/third parties:

  • order management and shipping processors;
  • payment processors;
  • customer service providers;
  • shopping experience service providers;
  • marketing service providers (including for purposes of targeted advertising);
  • loyalty program providers; and
  • product review program providers.

For Advertising

We sell, for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (the “CCPA”), the following categories of personal information with advertisers, advertising publishers, and other third parties to serve you targeted advertising, as we have in the preceding 12 months:

  • email address and IP address.

With Your Consent

We may disclose personal information collected from, and about, you (including your personal information) with companies, organizations or individuals with your express consent.

For Legal Reasons

We may also share personal information collected from, and about you with third-parties if we are legally required to do so, or if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the personal information is reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with any applicable federal, state, or local law, regulation, civil, criminal or regulatory inquiry, investigation legal process or enforceable governmental request;
  • respond to legal process (such as a search warrant, subpoena, summons or court order);
  • enforce our Terms of Use (or other terms of service for our website or mobile app), including investigation of potential violations;
  • cooperate with law enforcement agencies concerning conduct or activity that we reasonably and in good faith believes may violate federal, state, or local law; or
  • exercise or defend legal claims, protect against harm to our rights, property or safety or the rights, property or safety of third-parties, our consumers, or the public as required or permitted by law.


How long we retain your personal information depends on why and how we collected it and how we use it. We will keep your personal information for as long as we need it to provide you with your requested service(s) or to meet our commercial or legal obligations.

Unless our legal obligations require otherwise, we will keep your personal information collected by, or provided to us:

  • in connection with orders for seven years (though some of your personal information may be deleted earlier); and
  • in connection with your online browsing, for three years (though some of your personal information may be deleted earlier).

To determine the retention period of your personal information, we consider several criteria to make sure that we do not keep your personal information for longer than is necessary or appropriate. These criteria include:

  • the purpose for which we hold your personal information;
  • our legal and regulatory obligations in relation to that personal information, for example any financial reporting obligations;
  • whether our relationship with you is ongoing;
  • any specific requests from you in relation to the deletion of your personal information; and
  • our legitimate business interests in relation to managing our own rights, for example the defense of any claims.

When we no longer need to retain your personal information, it will be deleted or be anonymized so that you can no longer be identified from it.

Please note, that, other than in response to a request to delete your personal information, we have no obligations to notify you when deleting your personal information and can do it at our sole discretion.


We may use third-party advertising companies that use tracking technologies to serve our advertisements across the Internet. These companies may collect personal information about your visits to our website and other websites/applications and your interaction with our advertising and other communications. These advertising companies serve ads on behalf of us and others on non-affiliated websites, and some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on personal information collected about your visits to our website and elsewhere over time. Other companies may also use such technology to advertise on our website.


Our website or mobile app is not directed to children, nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from, children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental or legal guardian consent. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please promptly contact us using the contact information detailed in the “Contact Us” section below, and we will endeavor to investigate and delete such personal information from our systems.
